Tools and Broker Support for Remote California Real Estate Agents

A remote brokerage should give agents a practical way to handle documents, learn, market listings, and get guidance. Here is how to evaluate the tools and support behind the HomeBased Realty® home-office model.

Keep the transaction workflow organized

Cloud-based contracts and forms let agents create, manage, deliver, and store transaction documents without relying on a daily office visit. Electronic signatures support a paperless client experience, and transaction-management resources help keep participants and documents connected.

HomeBased Realty® also has an online offer-submission platform for listing agents. The goal is straightforward: make information easier to receive and keep a clear path for brokerage review. Agents still need to watch deadlines, check completed documents, and follow company procedures.

Know where to turn with a question

Broker support is part of the HomeBased Realty® model. Agents have access to Joe Morales and the support team for guidance. The published recruiting FAQs describe broker assistance as available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

HBRiHUB’s company knowledge-base chatbot is another resource for finding information on brokerage policies, forms, financing, and industry topics. An AI answer does not replace the broker’s review or the professional judgment required in a specific transaction. Ask for guidance when facts, documents, or deadlines need closer attention.

Use training when the topic is relevant to your work

The Turbo Training video library offers on-demand material about forms, transaction practices, compliance, sales, marketing, and technology. Live webinars, virtual meetings, and iTalk open-forum sessions give agents other ways to learn and stay connected.

A useful training habit is to identify the topic you are about to handle, review the relevant material, and ask questions before the issue becomes urgent. The value comes from using the resource in your daily work—not simply having a library available.

Choose marketing resources that fit the listing

Available resources include listing syndication, QR codes, lead management, promotional video options, sign designs, and client concierge services. Text and automated voice-response lead capture apply to eligible CRMLS listings.

AI virtual staging and Matterport tours can support listing presentation, subject to the published service terms and availability. Matterport service is limited to selected areas. Sign production, business cards, personal advertising, and custom materials remain part of the agent’s business expenses unless a specific offering says otherwise.

Separate included resources from optional services

A CRM and agent website are optional. In-house transaction coordination is also optional and carries its own fee due on a successful closing. An experienced California-licensed, C.A.R.-certified transaction coordinator can help manage the file from contract through closing.

Ask what is included, what requires separate payment, which vendor terms apply, and how to obtain support. The published What We Offer page describes the current resources. Do not treat every tool mentioned as unlimited or free.

Set up the essentials first

Start with access to the Agent Virtual Office, contracts, electronic signatures, transaction submission, training, and your broker’s communication procedures. Add optional systems when they solve a specific business need.

Common questions

Are CRM and agent websites included automatically?

The posted benefits describe a CRM and agent website as optional. Ask for current pricing, vendor terms, and available options.

Does transaction coordination replace my duties to the client?

No. It is an optional file-management service. The agent remains responsible for professional client service, transaction obligations, and brokerage requirements.

Is every marketing resource available throughout California?

No. Some resources have service-area or eligibility limits. Matterport tours are available in selected areas, and certain lead-capture tools apply to eligible CRMLS listings.
